About The Position

SharkNinja is seeking extreme and creative content creators for its new state-of-the-art facility, SharkNinja Studios and the Proof Demo Lab, located in Irvine, Orange County. The role involves creating demo content that visually proves the unique differences of SharkNinja products in a way that captures audience attention. The company emphasizes a culture of bold experimentation and innovation, aiming to solve real problems for consumers through its products. The content created will be used across all global markets where SharkNinja sells its products.

Requirements

A body of work (reel, feed, channel, portfolio) that proves the ability to make people stop scrolling.
Fluency in vertical, short-form content and the platforms it lives on.
Hands-on production ability; content can be raw and shot on a phone.
The instinct to move fast; scrappy and immediate work is preferred over polished and delayed.
Comfort working on-site in a working lab environment with potential exposure to water, fire, dust, food, and mess.
Formal film or design education is not required; work will be evaluated first.
Ability to apply through one of three routes: creating new content with a SharkNinja product, submitting existing work, or a conventional application with resume and reel/portfolio.
If applying as a pair, both individuals must apply and reference each other, submitting the work created together.

Nice To Haves

The ability to make something nobody believes came out of a home kitchen or home at all, focusing on possibility rather than speed.
Skill in conducting head-to-head comparisons with competing products.
Experience in torture testing products beyond their expected failure point.
Proficiency in creating 'mess' content involving food science, chaos, or controlled disasters.
An eye for product styling and aesthetics, understanding how products are chosen like furniture.
Ability to demonstrate everyday tasks being done in a way that seems like a magic trick.
Being one of the six identified profiles: mess maker, kitchen scientist, hook writer, one-person crew, editor with taste, or on-camera talent.
Applying as a pair with existing chemistry and a collaborative work history.

Responsibilities

Create content that earns viewership on its own, not sales videos.
Make the product the hero through demonstrations like stunts, cooking, styling, racing, or testing.
Concept, shoot, and edit vertical-first content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube for global markets.
Conduct and film controlled tests, torture tests, head-to-head comparisons, and food-science experiments in the Proof Demo Lab.
Visually demonstrate product capabilities and innovations, showing rather than claiming.
Work across 35+ product categories, with new ones added regularly.
Collaborate with product, engineering, brand, and regional marketing teams to ensure global relevance of the work.
