The company's portfolio includes 17 brands, distributed in 30 countries and sold through various retail and digital platforms. Meyer is known for its innovative products, including the first flat-bottom wok and the first cookware with a titanium nanobond cooking surface. The Content Creator role is responsible for transforming products, the team, and the company's journey into engaging content, including trend-aware short-form video, images, and other formats to drive audience growth and sales. This role offers creative ownership, allowing the individual to shape brand presence on social media, enhance creativity, performance, and community connection, and elevate the creative direction of the broader social team. The position requires the individual to be comfortable on camera, operating the camera, and editing content.

Requirements

  • Proven success in growing a social media account, with a portfolio or account examples provided.
  • A strong understanding of cookware and what makes it visually appealing on camera.
  • Proficiency in filming and editing content independently.
  • Comfortable being on camera as an on-screen talent.
  • Deep understanding of short-form video trends, effective hooks, and best practices for platforms like Reels and TikTok.
  • Ability to quickly create on-brand graphics.
  • Awareness of current events, cultural shifts, trends, slang, and creator-related news.
  • An improvisational mindset, embracing a "yes, and" approach to challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively presenting ideas.
  • Genuinely social personality, able to connect with diverse individuals to foster idea generation.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment where tasks are not repetitive.
  • Empathy to understand the audience's perspective, anticipate their interests, and iterate on ideas that may not initially perform well.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple brands, channels, and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns or collaboration with performance marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Video Product Manager to understand product details and marketing objectives for social channels.
  • Film various types of content including unboxing videos, product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes footage, team features, episodic series, and memes.
  • Edit video content using CapCut (desktop) or Premiere.
  • Produce simple graphics and design assets for social media posts using tools like Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or similar.
  • Write social media copy that is engaging and aligns with both internet culture and brand voice.
  • Consistently pitch new content ideas, including meme concepts.
