About The Position

Turnberry is looking for a Content Creator to help bring our brands and properties to life through thoughtful, social-first content. This role is responsible for capturing and creating photo and video content across our portfolio—from hospitality and residential to retail, events, and guest experiences. You'll document what's happening in real time and turn it into content that feels elevated, current, and aligned with the standards of a luxury brand. We're looking for someone with strong creative instincts, an eye for aesthetics, and a clear understanding of how people engage with content today. Someone who knows how to move quickly without sacrificing taste, and who can recognize the moments worth capturing before they're gone.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience as a content creator, social media content specialist, videographer, or in a similar creative role.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong photography, short-form video, editing ability, and overall creative point of view.
  • Proficiency with mobile and/or professional camera equipment and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends, short-form video best practices, and platform-native content.
  • Comfortable engaging with people on camera and capturing authentic moments.
  • Strong judgment and an understanding of what content is appropriate for luxury brands and discerning audiences.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel to Turnberry properties as needed.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings, weekends, and holidays in support of events and activations.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photo and video content on-site across Turnberry properties, showcasing experiences, amenities, events, openings, and everyday moments.
  • Create short-form video content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and Stories.
  • Translate seasonal campaigns, promotions, partnerships, pop-ups, and community events into compelling visual stories.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to create content rather than waiting for assignments.
  • Attend events, openings, activations, and special moments outside of traditional office hours when needed to ensure key experiences are documented.
  • Partner with the creative and marketing teams to ensure content reflects the personality of each brand while maintaining a consistent level of quality across the portfolio.
  • Stay current on emerging trends, platform updates, formats, and behaviors, bringing forward ideas that feel relevant without feeling forced.
  • Collaborate with property teams, retailers, restaurants, hotel teams, residential teams, and partners to uncover stories and experiences worth sharing.
  • Contribute ideas during campaign development and creative planning, helping shape how concepts come to life across social channels.
  • Edit and deliver content according to established timelines while maintaining a high creative standard.
  • Organize and tag assets for future use across campaigns and channels.
  • Ensure all content meets required brand, quality, usage, and formatting standards.
  • Maintain an organized content library with appropriate naming conventions and metadata for future access by the team.
