About The Position

WALDEN LOCAL MEAT CO. is seeking a Content Creator & Partnerships Manager for a full-time, hybrid role. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is based in Tewksbury, MA, and South End, Boston, with remote flexibility. The company is looking for an individual who can create compelling content that captures attention and build a creator network to increase brand visibility. This role involves hands-on content creation, including shooting and editing video and photography, designing digital and print assets, and reacting quickly to real-time events. It also includes identifying, vetting, and building relationships with food creators and cultural voices, managing creator partnerships, and monitoring online conversations. Strategic thinking is also key, involving ownership of the social content calendar, performance tracking, and staying current with industry trends. Walden Local delivers regeneratively raised meat from independent family farms to member families across the Northeast. They are a B Corp, pay farmers significantly above commodity rates, and emphasize a direct, wry brand voice free of corporate jargon.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience creating social content for a brand, agency, or personal audience.
  • A portfolio demonstrating the ability to create content that resonates with viewers.
  • Proficiency in shooting and editing video on a smartphone.
  • Understanding of native social media formats, aspect ratios, pacing, and hooks.
  • Experience building or managing creator/influencer relationships.
  • Strong design eye and basic execution skills (Canva, Figma, or Adobe).
  • Excellent writing skills for captions, scripts, DMs, and briefs.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results without constant supervision.
  • Comfort with AI tools for content ideation, editing, and automation (e.g., Claude).

  • Owns a personal following or creative practice demonstrating taste and consistency.
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, or membership/subscription brands.
  • Experience building a creator seeding program from scratch.
  • Photography skills beyond smartphone capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit short-form video, photography, and social-first creative across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms.
  • Concept and produce content that authentically captures regenerative farming, craft butchery, and home cooking.
  • Transform farm visits, butcher shop shifts, member stories, and delivery days into engaging content.
  • Design digital and print assets such as emails, direct mail inserts, paid ads, and in-store materials.
  • React quickly to real-time events and opportunities to create timely content.
  • Identify, vet, and build relationships with food creators, home cooks, chefs, and cultural voices.
  • Run a product seeding program to get products to relevant creators.
  • Manage a roster of creator partnerships, including gifted and paid collaborations.
  • Monitor and engage in real-time when Walden Local is mentioned online.
  • Own the social content calendar and posting cadence.
  • Track and report on content performance, creator ROI, and audience growth.
  • Collaborate with the CMO and marketing team on campaign strategy and brand evolution.
  • Stay current on platform shifts, algorithm changes, creator economy trends, and best practices from other brands.
