About The Position

Bellevue University is seeking a highly motivated student to join our Growth Marketing Team as a Part-Time Content Creator and Marketing Analyst. This role is ideal for a student passionate about marketing, content development, brand and using data to drive outcomes. You will play a key role in supporting the university’s brand engagement efforts by creating dynamic, student‑centered content and using a blend of creativity and data insights to continuously enhance Bellevue’s brand presence. This role is ideal for a creative, outgoing student who loves storytelling and wants to help highlight the on‑campus, residential experience. In addition to content development, the student worker will also support a range of marketing initiatives, gaining real-world experience in strategy, social media and content creation. This work-study position provides an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to enrollment marketing and the Bellevue University brand, while building a portfolio of accomplishments relevant to future marketing and data roles in the education sector.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the education sector and/or higher education administration.
  • Comfort with developing short form video content and other social media content.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM (e.g., Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Understanding of educational marketing challenges, such as enrollment funnels, student retention, and alumni engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging short‑form videos (with an emphasis on TikTok) that highlight campus life, events, student voices, and day‑to‑day experiences.
  • Film and photograph on‑campus locations, activities, programs, and people.
  • Edit videos using mobile or desktop editing tools to align with brand guidelines and trends.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and content ideas.
  • Analyze enrollment trends, student engagement data, and campaign performance to support marketing strategy.
  • Track and report on key marketing metrics in social tools and across platforms such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Marketing Cloud, Blackboard, and social media tools.
  • Conduct research on peer institutions and local/regional educational trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing staff to deliver on specific project-based assignments as needed.
  • Present findings and actionable recommendations to the marketing team.
