About The Position

Swish Breaks is a sports and entertainment company focused on the trading card hobby. They operate daily live shows on platforms like Fanatics Live, Whatnot, and TikTok, featuring card breaks across various categories including Sports, Pokémon, and WWE. The company is expanding its social media presence and is seeking a Content Creator Intern to help build a content engine that matches the energy of their live shows. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sports, cards, pop culture, and creating engaging video content.

Requirements

• Previous content creation experience (for personal use, a brand, a creator, or a side hustle).
• Comfortable appearing on camera.
• Strong understanding of what works on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, including hooks, pacing, captions, and trends.
• Genuine interest or fandom in sports, trading cards, Pokémon, WWE, or pop culture.
• Self-starter with an ideas-first approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and meet deadlines.
• Not overly precious about their work, willing to take risks.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and pitch content daily, including series concepts, one-off ideas, reactive posts, and recurring formats.
• Shoot original content using a phone, camera, or other equipment, capturing behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, skits, vlogs, and on-the-floor coverage.
• Appear on camera to host segments and guide viewers through content.
• Collaborate with streamers to develop series and individual content pieces that highlight their personalities.
• Cover live events and shows across platforms like Fanatics, Whatnot, and TikTok, including Swish Wax, Swish Bats, Swish Smash, Swish Sealed, and PokéSwish.
• React in real-time to trending sports and pop culture moments.
• Track content performance using a social spreadsheet to inform future content ideas.
