About The Position

The Summer Internship Program at TelevisaUnivision is designed to build a foundation for early career talent and develop future professionals. This program offers participants real on-the-job experience in their areas of interest and specialty, exposing them to the broader business and fostering an understanding of how different areas operate and collaborate cross-functionally. The Content & Brand Analytics Intern will be responsible for compiling audience data to analyze linear, digital, and streaming performance. This role involves watching show content across TelevisaUnivision’s portfolio to provide actionable insights that contribute to the company’s content strategy and deepen the understanding of audience behavior. The internship dates are June 8 to August 14, 2026, with a commitment of 40 hours per week and a pay rate of $18 per hour.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university from a relevant program (marketing analytics, business analytics, data science, media analytics, etc.).
  • Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including comfort with pivot tables, lookups, and building clean, structured analyses that others can follow.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar to pull, filter, and visualize data (no SQL or Python required, though any familiarity is a plus).
  • Passionate about television and content, particularly for US Hispanic and LatAm.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Outstanding communication skills – written, oral, presentation, and storytelling.
  • Curiosity and passion for solving problems and answering challenging questions.
  • Organized, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Able to take direction and feedback well.
  • Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and interpret linear, digital, and streaming data to identify market trends, program preferences, opportunities, audience flow, and other insights.
  • Discover the “why” beyond “what” data reveals to create learnings and identify market trends.
  • Learn Nielsen and other software and business intelligence tools to report on program performance.
  • Manage high-level and detailed analyses, reports and presentations covering TelevisaUnivision and competitors.
  • Position data in a creative and concise manner to communicate and make insights real for internal clients.
  • Support the creation of presentations based on content and brand insights to production teams and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively surface new questions and opportunities where data-driven insights can improve slate planning, scheduling, and monetization.
  • Participate in a group innovation project assigned at the beginning of the program, working cross-functionally and presenting ideas to an executive committee at the end.
