About The Position
Juice Jerky is a San Diego-based fruit leather brand sold at farmers markets, in stores, and online. They have a growing TikTok and Instagram presence and are looking to enhance their content creation efforts. This role is for a part-time Content Assistant to help capture and produce short-form social media content, combining live market coverage with post-production video clipping.
Requirements
- Uses TikTok and Instagram Reels personally and genuinely enjoys short-form video content.
- Has a strong instinct for what stops a scroll.
- Basic video editing skills (using CapCut, InShot, or similar).
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently after market days.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with TikTok Shop.
- Experience with content creation for a brand.
- Background in marketing or film.
Responsibilities
- Monitor market camera feed and log timestamps.
- Keep a running notes document during busy market periods.
- Capture supplemental footage on a phone for close-ups or behind-the-scenes moments.
- Review raw footage using timestamp notes.
- Clip 6-8 short-form videos (15-60 seconds) ready for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Deliver an organized folder of clips each week for final review and posting.
