Containment Technician (Oilfield)

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, dust, and varying weather conditions
- Ability to travel to customer locations as required
- Enjoy working outdoors in a physically active environment
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Take pride in working safely and producing quality work
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively and work well on a team
Nice To Haves
- Oilfield experience
- Containment, environmental, construction, maintenance, or general labor experience
- Experience operating trailers, skid steers, forklifts, or similar equipment
- Knowledge of spill prevention and environmental compliance practices
- Basic welding, fabrication, carpentry, or repair experience
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and remove containment systems at customer locations
- Assist with spill prevention and containment efforts on active oilfield sites
- Inspect containment equipment, liners, barriers, pumps, hoses, and related materials
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment
- Construct and assemble containment structures and barriers as needed
- Support site maintenance activities using general handyman and mechanical skills
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, incidents, and safety observations
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding site conditions and project status
- Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements
- Assist with additional field service activities as assigned
