About The Position
This position delivers garbage and recycling containers (cans) to new homeowners and also assembles, repairs, and replaces damaged or unusable containers and delivers them throughout Salt Lake County. The successful candidate must be able to safely operate District vehicles and equipment in traffic, residential neighborhoods, and other congested areas.
Requirements
- At least six (6) months of experience in a related field.
- Valid Utah Driver License.
- Current DOT Medical Card at the time of hire.
- Forklift certification (must be obtained within six (6) months of hire date if not already held).
Responsibilities
- Deliver garbage and recycling containers to new homeowners.
- Assemble, repair, and replace damaged or unusable containers.
- Deliver containers throughout Salt Lake County.
- Safely operate District vehicles and equipment in traffic, residential neighborhoods, and other congested areas.
