About The Position
Olympic Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Container Delivery Driver to join their team in Sequim, WA. This is a stable, full-time career opportunity with great pay, benefits, and the chance to be home every night. Previous waste industry experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate. The schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed. The starting pay is $26.50/hr with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
- Minimum 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Nice To Haves
- Previous waste industry experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed truck on specified routes to deliver/remove carts and containers.
- Read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading, at times without assistance.
- Interact courteously with customers.
- Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
