About The Position

This is a Temporary Full-Time Contact Centre Loyalty Associate role. The position is anticipated to end January 31, 2027, and is a fully remote opportunity. As a Contact Centre Loyalty Associate, you are a Sales Professional who supports our Member Experience and Sales Network to meet corporate revenue targets through proactively connecting with our existing Members. Requirements

  • Completion of Grade 12
  • 2 current and consecutive years of general insurance experience
  • Level 1 insurance license, and willing to obtain Level 2 insurance license within 18 months of employment in this position
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related discipline from a recognized program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with solution based selling.
  • Proven planning and time management skills.
  • Dedicated space in your home to work independently.
  • Work well under pressure, embrace change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solver who loves a challenge, demonstrating strong analytical skills and good judgment.
  • Good communicator and recognize the importance of listening well and keeping other team members informed about your work.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Can negotiate skillfully in challenging situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a contact centre environment
  • Completion of CAIB 1
  • Knowledge of BCAA’s systems such as NEAT, Diamond, Varicent and Cisco
  • Limited history of Errors & Omissions.
  • Be in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.

Responsibilities

  • Connecting and initiating outbound calls with our existing Members who have expressed interest in our products.
  • Through telephone and/or web-based consultative sales, acquires new Membership sales; where required, sells additional BCAA products and services.
  • Understand and identify our Members’ needs and create a personalized experience and valued solution.
  • Make recommendations for improving quality and effectiveness of Marketing campaigns.
  • Creating and maintaining reports on number of outbound calls made, outcome, and prescribed metrics.
  • Interacting with other functional groups to ensure Member Satisfaction and collaborate with supplier Underwriters
  • Review product terms and conditions including, but not limited to, coverages, limits and exclusions to limit errors and omissions
  • Update Member information and insurance policy details in applicable systems such as processing insurance endorsements and updating coverages
  • Issue new and renewal membership transactions such as memberships, Trip Tiks (auto travel planning), passport photos, international driving permits, Member maps, tour books and camp guides
