About The Position

This position is responsible for providing support and assistance to Consumer Real Estate Loan Officers throughout the loan origination process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) Review loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory readiness prior to disclosure Prepare and issue initial disclosures in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations (including TRID timing requirements) Ensure accuracy of fees, loan terms, and supporting documentation prior to disclosure issuance Monitor and meet all required disclosure timelines Order appraisals, appraisal reviews, flood determinations, and credit reports Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • at least 2-3 years of similar work experience
  • Basic knowledge of consumer real estate loan documents and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in the Encompass software system is required
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other employees, customers and the general public
  • Ability to calculate basic math figures and amounts
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office software

  • College certificate is preferred but not required
