Requirements

  • Pursuing a business degree in sales, marketing or similar program having completed junior year prior to start of internship
  • Passion for learning and growing in CPG Sales
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and work independently
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Experience or coursework in data analysis (Excel modeling, pivot tables, data visualization) is a must
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business data to identify key drivers and trends, develop actionable insights, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support Sales, Category Management, and Omni-Channel projects, including analyzing pricing and promotions, assessing product placement, evaluating omni-channel shopper behavior, and leveraging category insights to enhance sales execution and performance.
  • Assist with strategic initiatives for major customers (e.g., Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, Publix, Albertsons) and growth channels (e.g., eCommerce, Convenience, Club).
  • Collaborate in cross-functional meetings with teams such as Trade, Demand Planning, and Category Management to align on strategies and execution.
  • Gain exposure to key business areas, including Brand Marketing, New Product Innovation, Category Insights, and Market Research.
