About The Position
Join our growing team! We are hiring a full-time Consumer Loan Specialist to join our Member Contact Center team! This position will be based at our St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland. Pay: $20.00-$23.00 Per Hour Schedule: Full Time Location: 2300 St. Clair Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44114 Who We Are: At Firefighters Community Credit Union, we believe people are far more than just their credit score. We are looking for individuals with a desire to respond to member requests for loans; uncover opportunities and recommend appropriate loan solutions to help grow the member's relationship with the credit union. Good credit is important to us, as we are a financial institution.
Requirements
- Three to five years of similar or related experience.
- A high school education or GED.
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Sales and cross-selling experience
- Good credit is important to us, as we are a financial institution.
- Working knowledge of regulations relating to the Credit Union.
- Physical requirements include moving frequently and regularly using wrists, hands, and or fingers; speaking clearly, hearing and understanding; visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents; should be able to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer experience via chat, phone, and email by handling member loan requests
- Discuss members current and future financial needs, analyze possible loan solutions, and provide members with good recommendations that address their needs
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services that benefit member needs
- Maintain quality digital and paper records during and after the loan process
