Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist– Booking and Collateral Perfection
About The Position

This role is primarily responsible for Consumer loan onboarding as well as the related collateral perfection process. Successful candidates will have demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following lending areas; loan onboarding, collateral perfection or release, retail or mortgage loan servicing. Experience specifically with titled vehicle requirements in WA, ID and OR is a plus! We have an opening for a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist in our Downtown Spokane location. Location: Tower East - 5th Fl, 601 W 1st Ave, Spokane, WA, 99201. Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:00am -5:00pm. This role is open to a hybrid work schedule.
Requirements
- Demonstrated accuracy in working with detailed data in a deadline-oriented environment
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a loan servicing or related environment is desired
- Knowledge of loan documentation, collateral perfection, and general loan servicing, as well as bank, federal, and state policies and requirements is desired
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to and utilize systems and applications
- Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize work projects to meet deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Experience specifically with titled vehicle requirements in WA, ID and OR is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Ensures credibility of the loan system by accurately servicing loan portfolio
- Handles monetary transactions, maintenance entries and updates to the core application
- Handles loan boarding and collateral perfection
- Balances transactions, verifies input, identifies and corrects rejects
- Provides high quality customer service, researching and resolving customer issues
