About The Position

Performs a variety of clerical duties in conjunction with consumer loan servicing. Maintains loan files and records and prepares various reports. Enters customer payments into the computer to ensure proper documentation, regulatory compliance, and company policies. Posts loan or tax payments to accounts. Processes payoffs. Activates Automated Clearing House (ACH) per customer requests. Makes account corrections to personal customer information such as address. Boards loans to the system. Researches customer requests such as copies of payments, and correcting entries. This role requires working from the following U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days: 1850 Osborn Ave Oshkosh, WI 54902

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, mathematical and calculator skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience related to Automotive, Dealership, RV, Marine lending products
  • Proven Excel experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process and review Optional Product Refund transactions in accordance with departmental procedures, regulatory requirements, and established service level agreements.
  • Research and resolve complex account exceptions, processing discrepancies, and transaction-related issues.
  • Perform quality control reviews to ensure processing accuracy, policy compliance, and adherence to business line standards.
  • Document findings, identify trends, and escalate recurring issues for resolution.
  • Support vendor oversight activities by reviewing work completed by third-party partners and ensuring performance expectations are met.
  • Analyze reports and operational data to identify process improvement opportunities and operational risks.
  • Utilize multiple servicing systems, workflow applications, and reporting tools to complete daily responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit, compliance, and business requirements.
  • Assist with procedure updates, process enhancements, testing efforts, and implementation of business changes.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to research issues and drive timely resolution.
  • Participate in departmental projects and initiatives designed to improve efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and timeliness expectations established by management.
