About The Position

Granite State Credit Union (GSCU) is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Consumer Lending Specialist to join their dynamic Lending team. This role is crucial in supporting the credit union's historic loan growth and exceeding member service expectations. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility to work from home with occasional in-office processing, with the schedule coordinated in advance.

Responsibilities

Processing loan applications through various origination channels (incoming phone calls, third party vendors, online etc.)
Reviewing loans for decision and relaying decisions to borrowers
Preparing loan documents, scheduling loan closings, and processing loan closings/disbursements
Processing loans through the indirect lending channel (CUDL)
Answering incoming phone calls from members regarding consumer loan requests
Providing lending support, assistance, and training to the branch network
Assisting Consumer Lending in meeting its goals by participating in sales promotions and competitions, including inbound and outbound sales campaigns
