About The Position

Bravera is hiring for a Consumer/Home Equity Lending Officer in Bismarck, ND. This position is responsible for taking care of consumer loan inquiries, submitting consumer loan applications, and closing consumer loans. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or other related area, possess 2-3 years of banking experience; possess excellent communication, time management skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and thoroughness.

  • Analyze consumer loan applications; originate and process direct and indirect consumer loan products.
  • Originate and analyze Home Equity loan applications.
  • Works with customers to resolve delinquent payment issues, credit problems and related situations.
  • Fully understand and adhere to Bravera Loan Policy/Procedure and Deposit Policy and Procedure and recommend enhancements, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers as well as dealers as needed.
  • Adhere to current banking rules and regulations and keep abreast of changes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of all banking products and services.
  • Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  • The employee will adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
