The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by both booking business directly and by referring, as appropriate, to internal business partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management. This role is responsible for performing necessary functions to open accounts and perform maintenance, potentially running a Teller drawer as deemed necessary by management. The Consumer Banker will support client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow up, ensuring daily activities align with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience). This includes partnering with internal constituencies to bring the appropriate level of expertise to the client, ensuring client follow-up calls are conducted in a timely manner, and maintaining all operational and risk management standards. Other duties may be assigned to assist clients with transactions via branch, drive-thru, phone, and email. The role models First Financial's Mission and Values and is responsible for adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures. The Consumer Banker partners with District Specialists to execute retail strategies, attract, retain, and grow client relationships, fulfill financial needs, and provide a first-class client experience. They function as a client's personal trusted advisor using the First Client Conversation Model, participate in and lead site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities, and consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals. Additionally, the role provides digital assistance and service for clients using the bank's online offerings and stays informed about all bank products, processes, and procedures.
