The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by both booking business directly and by referring, as appropriate, to internal business partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management. This role involves performing necessary functions to open accounts and perform maintenance, potentially running a Teller drawer, and supporting client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow-up. Daily activities align with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience), including partnering with internal constituencies, ensuring client follow-up calls are conducted in a timely manner, and maintaining operational and risk management standards. Other duties may be assigned to assist clients with transactions via branch, drive-thru, phone, and email. The role requires modeling the way for peers and coworkers aligned with First Financial's Mission and Values, and adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures. The Consumer Banker tracks, reports, and communicates business results and activities to their FCM, and partners with District Specialists to execute retail strategies and objectives. They function as the client's personal trusted advisor by adding value and building deep client relationships using the First Client Conversation Model, and participate in site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities. The role requires consistently meeting or exceeding sales, service, and referral goals through team collaboration and by assisting clients with their financial needs. Additionally, the Consumer Banker provides digital assistance and service for clients using the bank's online offerings and stays informed about all bank products, processes, and procedures.
