The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by both booking business directly and by referring, as appropriate, to internal business partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management. This role is responsible for performing necessary functions to open accounts and perform maintenance, running a Teller drawer as deemed necessary by management, and supporting client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow up. Daily activities align with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience), including partnering with internal constituencies to bring the appropriate level of expertise to the client, ensuring client follow-up calls are conducted in a timely manner, and maintaining all operational and risk management standards. Other duties may be assigned to assist clients with transactions via branch, drive-thru, phone, and email. The Consumer Banker will model the way for peers and coworkers aligned with First Financials Mission and Values and is responsible for adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures. They will partner with District Specialists to execute retail strategies and objectives to attract, retain, and grow core client relationships, fulfill client financial needs, and provide a first-class client experience. The role functions as the client's personal trusted advisor by adding value and building deep client relationships using the First Client Conversation Model. Participation and leadership in the First Financial Bank Experience through active involvement in site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities is expected. The Consumer Banker will consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management by effectively collaborating as a team, with the District, and with lines of business to assist clients with their financial needs. Additionally, they will provide digital assistance and service for clients needing support with the bank's online offerings and stay informed about all bank products, processes, and procedures, especially complex ones. Daily travel will not exceed 60 miles, and travel between banking centers, along with mileage reimbursement above the commute, will qualify for business-related reimbursement.
