The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by both booking business directly and by referring, as appropriate, to internal business partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management. The role involves performing necessary functions to open accounts and perform maintenance, potentially running a Teller drawer, and supporting client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow-up. Daily activities align with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience), including partnering with internal constituencies, ensuring client follow-up calls are conducted promptly, and maintaining operational and risk management standards. The Consumer Banker is responsible for adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures, tracking and reporting business results, and partnering with District Specialists to execute retail strategies. The role functions as a client's personal trusted advisor, utilizing the First Client Conversation Model to build deep client relationships. Participation and leadership in the First Financial Bank Experience through site center huddles and meetings are expected. The Consumer Banker must consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals through team collaboration and by assisting clients with their financial needs. Providing digital assistance for online banking and supporting the branch team, FCM, and other associates in knowledge sharing, onboarding, and development are also key responsibilities. Staying informed about all bank products, processes, and procedures, especially complex ones, is crucial.
