The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by both booking business directly and by referring, as appropriate, to internal business partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management. This role involves performing necessary functions to open accounts and perform maintenance, potentially running a Teller drawer as needed. The Consumer Banker supports client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow-up, aligning with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience). This includes partnering with internal constituencies to bring the appropriate level of expertise to the client, ensuring timely client follow-up calls, and maintaining operational and risk management standards. The role also involves assisting clients with transactions via various channels and modeling First Financial's Mission and Values. The Consumer Banker is responsible for adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures and functions as the client's personal trusted advisor by adding value and building deep client relationships using the First Client Conversation Model. Participation and leadership in site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities are expected. The role requires consistently meeting or exceeding sales, service, and referral goals through team collaboration and by assisting clients with their financial needs. Providing digital assistance for online banking is also a key function. Staying informed about all bank products, processes, and procedures, especially complex ones, is crucial.
