About The Position

The Consumer Bank Product Manager II leads a team responsible for the strategy, development, and performance of consumer banking products. This role is pivotal in driving profitability while maintaining a moderate risk profile.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. (preferred)
equivalent experience (required)
7+ years of experience in financial services or a comparable industry. (required)
7+ years in product management, community development, marketing, or communications, with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management. (preferred)
Applying long-term, big-picture thinking to anticipate market shifts, identify opportunities, and align product initiatives with business strategy.
Defining the long-term vision and roadmap for products, aligning them with organizational goals, market trends, and customer demands.
Overseeing the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization—to ensure products meet customer needs and business objectives.
Prioritizing the needs, behaviors, and feedback of customers to guide product decisions and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Demonstrating a strong understanding of banking operations, financial principles, and market dynamics to make informed product decisions.
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating regulatory, operational, and financial risks throughout the product lifecycle, in alignment with the bank’s risk framework.
Analyzing complex challenges and developing effective, data-driven solutions that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
Applying logical reasoning and analytical skills to evaluate product performance, assess trade-offs, and support sound decision-making.
Managing a suite of products by prioritizing investments, balancing risk and return, and aligning with strategic goals.
Driving continuous improvement and introducing new ideas to enhance product offerings, customer value, and competitive advantage.
Ensuring that product features, services, and enhancements are closely aligned with evolving customer expectations and behaviors.
Streamlining processes, reducing waste, and improving workflows to enhance product delivery, scalability, and profitability.
Collaborating with marketing teams to position products effectively, develop go-to-market strategies, and support customer acquisition and engagement.
Applying financial modeling, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis to support sound product decisions and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead a team in the design, development, and management of consumer banking products and services.
