Consumer and Real Estate Loan Officer
About The Position
The Consumer and Real Estate Loan Officer is responsible for obtaining and developing a quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing an existing portfolio. This role involves promoting BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products to new and existing clientele, participating in community events, and executing policies and procedures consistently. The position requires extraordinary customer service, outside business development calls, and assisting with other job-related duties and special projects as requested. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an underwriting Consumer Loan Officer preferred
- Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
- Knowledge of loan processing/collection software required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications
- Obtain and develop Consumer/Real Estate loan portfolio
- Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrate an independent working attitude within a team framework
- Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job
Nice To Haves
- Degree preferred but not required
- Lending experience preferred but not required
