About The Position

Wipro Consulting is expanding its Life Sciences & Medical Devices consulting business. Reporting to the Americas Managing Partner for Life Sciences, the Consulting Partner will own C-suite relationships across global biopharma, biotech scale-ups, and MedTech companies, originating board-level advisory work that converts into large technology and BPO programs. The role spans the product lifecycle, including R&D, clinical trials, quality and regulatory, and smart manufacturing, with goals of shortening time to market and improving patient outcomes. The Partner will use Wipro’s technology capabilities and AI accelerators to develop signature intellectual property, such as benchmarks, data assets, and platform ventures. Success is measured through business and client impact, annual consulting revenue and technology/BPO pull-through, and market eminence, including analyst recognition, talent development, and thought leadership. The role also carries responsibility for assigned accounts’ full consulting P&L, practice investment and solution priorities, and leadership of teams across a global delivery footprint. Wipro Consulting combines strategy and transformation advisory with engineering execution. It works alongside Wipro’s global technology workforce and serves clients across Life Sciences and Medical Devices, including digital lab transformation, AI-driven molecule discovery, quality management modernization, and smart-factory initiatives.

Requirements

15+ years in top-tier strategy or Big Four advisory, including 7+ years of Life Sciences or MedTech leadership experience.
Personally sold and led more than $100 million in cumulative advisory revenue and demonstrated executive-level negotiation skills.
End-to-end command of the drug and device lifecycle, from discovery through post-market surveillance, and knowledge of global regulatory landscapes including FDA, EMA, and PMDA.
Experience overseeing multi-tower programs involving 50+ assets or 100+ manufacturing lines and $1 billion+ in spend.
Established market authority as a published author, keynote speaker, or quoted expert, with experience creating data assets and solution blueprints.
Demonstrated sponsorship of DEI initiatives and ability to build psychologically safe, high-performing teams across markets.
Founder-like urgency and ability to thrive amid ambiguity and rapid iteration.
Fluency in cloud, GenAI, digital twins, cybersecurity, and GxP digital-thread fundamentals.
PhD, MBA, MD, or bioinformatics or biomedical-engineering credentials from a top institution.

Responsibilities

Identify growth opportunities, develop C-suite narratives, and close more than $10 million in annual advisory bookings, anchoring technology and BPO follow-on programs.
Advise C-suite leaders on AI-augmented R&D, digital trials, smart factories, and product-as-a-service commercialization, translating their vision into funded roadmaps.
Govern multi-tower transformation programs, including PLM modernization, eTMF digitization, connected-device rollouts, and GenAI regulatory automation; ensure benefits realization and customer satisfaction above 4.8/5.
Incubate differentiating intellectual property, including benchmarks, twin platforms, and data products, and develop solution ventures with independent growth targets.
Publish three to four flagship points of view annually, deliver keynotes at major forums, and secure analyst citations to elevate Wipro’s brand.
Recruit, mentor, and sponsor junior partners and senior managers, and foster a psychologically safe, high-performance culture.
Build strategic partnerships with CROs, CDMOs, cloud and hyperscaler labs, and regulators to co-create market offerings.
Manage the full consulting P&L for assigned accounts, drive forecast accuracy, safeguard margins, and reinvest in growth accelerators.
Shape investment roadmaps, prioritize the solution backlog, and propagate agile ways of working across a global delivery footprint.
