About The Position

Clearsulting is seeking a Consulting Manager, Financial Close to lead and support Record-to-Report (R2R) technology implementations, including BlackLine and similar financial close solutions. This role involves driving practice growth by managing revenue and margin targets for technology implementation and finance transformation projects. The manager will communicate complex processes, system, and people-related issues through polished, executive-ready presentations and recommendations. They will apply SDLC principles, including requirements gathering, solution design, and testing cycles, to guide project execution. Additionally, the role includes managing and coaching team members, contributing to talent development, and fostering a collaborative work environment. The manager will oversee multiple competing priorities with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and consistently uphold firm policies and support a high-quality delivery culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business‑related field.
  • 6+ years of finance management and/or transformation consulting experience, preferably within a large consulting firm.
  • Strong technical competency across R2R, Financial Close, General Accounting, and related finance processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to executive audiences.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
