Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman is in need of a well experienced Structural Engineer to work with its Propulsion Systems & Control (PS&C) unit. The structural analyst is desired for part-time consulting services on an as-needed basis. The duties of the position entail consultation on structural and materials issues, participation in analysis and design reviews, and possible support for customer technical meetings. This position will support programs in rocket propulsion.

Requirements

At least 15 years of experience plus a bachelors degree or higher in a STEM field
Extensive background in rocket propulsion structural analysis is required, with particular emphasis on rocket nozzle material response under extreme thermal environments
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
