About The Position

IMP Solutions is seeking a consultant to join their Professional Services team. The role involves working directly with clients across Canada, contributing to IT products and IT/business consulting services. The consultant will support a mix of advisory and delivery engagements, working across various industries and organizations. This position offers the opportunity to build experience in consulting, transformation, and project delivery. Consultants work with both public and private sector clients on business and technology initiatives. The role is based across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island, with a mix of remote and on-site work. Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in consulting, project delivery, business analysis, organizational change, program management, or related disciplines
  • Experience supporting or leading business and technology initiatives
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience building relationships and working directly with clients
  • A willingness to continuously learn, develop new skills, and take on increasing responsibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment is considered an asset
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CBAP, CCBA, Prosci, Agile, ITIL, or equivalent experience are considered assets

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead client engagements from planning through execution
  • Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and project teams
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather requirements, align stakeholders, and identify solutions
  • Contribute to recommendations and practical solutions that help clients achieve business outcomes
  • Support project, program, or transformation initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Help manage project risks, issues, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to drive successful outcomes
  • Prepare project documentation, status reports, business requirements, and other client deliverables
  • Contribute to proposals, client discussions, and other business development activities as opportunities arise
