Appian is seeking a Consultant to join its Customer Success team, focusing on combining a passion for technology with strategic problem-solving. The Customer Success team is dedicated to achieving great customer outcomes by delivering mission-critical business impact and partnering with customers to bring their ideas to life. This role involves engaging with customers post-sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform, driving digital transformation and competitive differentiation. The Consultant will work through the entire project life-cycle to define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions for commercial clients within an agile environment. This includes understanding client business processes and technical needs, launching relational data models, developing APIs for system integration, and brainstorming/implementing AI use cases using Appian’s AI tools (RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, generative models). Collaboration with client technical teams and business users is essential throughout the software development life cycle, as is empowering clients to become self-sufficient with building process applications. The position is based at Appian's HQ in McLean, VA, with an expectation of 4-5 days per week in the office to foster in-person collaboration and teamwork.
