Appian is seeking a Consultant to join its Customer Success team, focusing on engaging with customers post-sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform. This role involves driving next-generation, AI-powered digital transformations by implementing custom software and AI solutions for commercial clients throughout the entire project life-cycle. Consultants will work in an agile environment to understand client business processes and technical needs, launch relational data models, and develop APIs for system integration. A key aspect of the role is brainstorming and implementing Appian’s AI tools, utilizing techniques like retrieval augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and prompt engineering. Collaboration with client technical teams and business users is essential, as is empowering clients to become self-sufficient in building process applications. The position is based at Appian's HQ in McLean, VA, with an expectation for employees to be in the office 4-5 days per week to foster in-person collaboration and teamwork.
