Appian is seeking a Consultant to join its Customer Success team, focusing on combining technology passion with strategic problem-solving. The Customer Success team is dedicated to achieving great customer outcomes by delivering mission-critical business impact and partnering with customers to implement their ideas. This role involves developing software solutions on the Appian platform post-sales, helping companies achieve digital transformation and competitive differentiation. The Consultant will work through the entire project life-cycle, from defining and designing to developing and implementing custom software and AI solutions for commercial clients. This includes working in an agile environment, understanding client needs, launching data models, and developing APIs for system integration. A key aspect of the role is brainstorming and implementing AI use cases using Appian’s AI tools, including retrieval augment generation (RAG), agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models. The Consultant will also collaborate with client technical teams and business users to drive adoption and empower clients to become self-sufficient. The role is based at Appian's HQ in McLean, VA, with an expectation of 4-5 days per week in the office to foster collaboration and teamwork.
