About The Position

Turner & Townsend’s Program Advisory business, established in 2018, provides services to clients in strategy, set-up, transition, and transformation of their capability to deliver major programs and projects both in the US and globally. The business has a market-leading client base across all sectors. A key differentiator is the offering of practical, accessible advice informed and underpinned by broad technical delivery capability and industry experience. Due to success, the US team is expanding, and a strategic and experienced Program Advisory Consultant is sought. This client-facing role involves working on various consulting/advisory assignments, each led by a Turner & Townsend Director. The consultant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering excellent outcomes for clients, utilizing their knowledge and experience in consulting and advisory services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or other recognized professional qualification in management consulting, business management, engineering, construction, procurement, contract management, project management, project controls or information technology.
  • Ability to provide value-adding advice and hands-on help to clients in the infrastructure, real estate, or natural resources sectors.
  • 2 to 6 years’ experience in a similar consulting role in the infrastructure, natural resources, heavy industrial, or real estate sectors.
  • Experience in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, QlikView and Excel.
  • An enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Data Center construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Working on exciting and challenging commissions that improve the way an organization develops its capital strategy, assesses and allocates capital, and sets up its major programs and projects for success.
  • Providing best-practice advice and hands-on help to our clients in relation to establishing, transforming, operating and optimizing major programs and projects.
  • Deploying a variety of consulting techniques to improve performance across the capital and project lifecycle.
  • Working as part of an integrated team; supporting workstreams (up to moderate complexity); and assist the project team with deliverables.
  • Supporting the definition and development of tools and techniques that support our service delivery.
  • Supporting business leaders with business development and practice development.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
