About The Position

You will be joining CIBC’s Finance Technology team. As a Techno Functional Consultant, you’ll design, configure, and support SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Group Reporting modules to streamline financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. You will leverage your experience with SAP S/4HANA GL, MDG, and FPSL for Sub Ledger to meet business requirements, and play a key role in mapping business processes, identifying gaps, and developing solutions for financial accounting, FX Revaluation, Accrual Engine, and PAPM. Your responsibilities will include providing production support, troubleshooting, documenting functional designs and test cases, supporting data migration activities, and preparing comprehensive documentation to support audit and compliance requirements. Requirements

Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA (GL, MDG, FPSL).
Experience in SAP FICO implementation, migration, and maintenance projects.
Experience supporting multi-GAAP, multi-currency, and multi-entity accounting environments.
Comfortable with IFRS.
Experience with production support and troubleshooting.
Strong technical knowledge to debug and analyze issues independently.
Track record of delivery.
Experience analyzing SAP notes.
Experience supporting data migration activities.
Detail-oriented and compliance-focused.
Ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and support SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Group Reporting modules.
Streamline financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Lead, facilitate, and coordinate the solution design process, including mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation of financial data during system upgrades or rollouts.
Ensure alignment across business and technical teams.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans.
Coordinate with users for testing and validation.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and process flows.
Ensure all solutions meet audit and compliance requirements.
Analyze SAP notes and support data migration activities.
