Syntax is seeking a Senior SAP SD Consultant to join their AMS delivery team and enhance their SAP Sales and Distribution capabilities within their client portfolio. The ideal candidate has in-depth expertise in SAP SD, strong knowledge of integrations with modules like FI CO, COPA, PS, MM, and BI, and hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments. This client-facing role requires strong technical rigor, a proactive problem-solving approach, and a strong commitment to service excellence in managed support operations.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD (configuration, support, and evolution).
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.
- Solid knowledge of integrations with FI CO, COPA, PS, MM, and BI modules.
- In-depth expertise in pricing, discounts, condition contracts, settlement management, and Agency Business.
- Experience in creating CDS Views and supporting BI reporting needs.
- Good understanding of resource-related billing, variant configuration, and project management systems.
- Technical skills such as debugging or a basic understanding of ABAP are a significant asset.
- Proficiency in English is necessary for implementation activities interacting with clients in multiple regions.
- Strong analytical skills, documentation rigor, and client orientation.

Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support and optimizations for SAP SD processes within AMS engagements.
- Configure and enhance SAP SD functionalities, including pricing, billing, discount management, and condition contracts.
- Support implementations of Agency Business and Vistex discount/dispute management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI CO, MM, PP, PS, BI) to ensure integrated business outcomes.
- Design, document, and implement solutions for process automation, reporting (CDS Views), and functional enhancements.
- Lead client workshops, testing, and end-user training in accordance with Syntax's quality standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to AMS clients by combining SAP technical expertise with a practical understanding of business processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior consultants within the AMS practice.
- Ensure adherence to AMS delivery standards, governance, and performance indicators.
