As a Consultant for Technical & Scientific Regulatory Affairs (SRA), you will be at the intersection of science, regulation, and innovation—helping to ensure recipes, ingredients, labels, and marketing communications meet both regulatory requirements and Company standards. This position supports the North America Operating Unit by collaborating across multiple functions, including Global SRA, Legal, Quality, and Formula Governance, to drive compliance excellence, risk mitigation, and sustainable innovation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Scientific & Regulatory Affairs roles or technical compliance within the food and beverage industry, or a related CPG environment.
  • Familiarity with the North American regulatory landscape, including FDA and Health Canada requirements for product labeling, ingredient declarations, and permissible claims.
  • Experience reviewing product formulations, labeling, packaging artwork, and digital communications for accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of claims governance and substantiation processes within a consumer-facing product environment.
  • Working experience with digital regulatory tools and platforms; ability to learn and navigate enterprise systems supporting formula governance and SRA workflows.
  • Data literacy and ability to use insights for compliance risk assessments and decision-making support.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in data and compliance documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex science and regulations into actionable language for stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key SRA workstreams for North America Operating Unit focused on ingredient, product, label, and claims compliance within innovation projects across multiple beverage categories.
  • Review and approve product formulas, ingredient lists, packaging artwork, labels, and digital content for regulatory compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulations and Company policies.
  • Support cross-functional partners—including Technical, Brand, and Legal teams—with clear regulatory assessments that balance risk management with innovation enablement.
  • Participate in risk assessments, providing structured regulatory input to mitigate potential compliance barriers early in development cycles.
  • Conduct competitive assessments of claims and share insights to identify whitespace opportunities and inform innovation strategy for the portfolio.
  • Help implement and maintain SRA digital tools, systems, and frameworks that improve process efficiency and ensure consistency across markets.
  • Provide regulatory guidance in response to consumer, customer, and advocacy requests related to nutrition, ingredients, and product information across TCCC beverage portfolio.
