About The Position

Playfly Sports is looking for a Consultant, Sales and Service to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about preserving a culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates diverse voices. It's a great fit for those wanting to start and grow a career in sports ticket sales or collegiate athletics. The primary method of revenue generation will be through outbound phone calls, supplemented by email marketing, face-to-face presentations, and in-arena/stadium tours where applicable. Day-to-day leadership and mentoring will be provided by Playfly Aspire Leadership, along with the necessary tools, programs, and systems to succeed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
Ticket sales experience is preferred, but not required
Previous customer service or retail sales experience a plus; display a genuine desire to help people
Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented
Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative
Ability to encourage collaboration, flexibility, equity and inclusion that enables colleagues to contribute to their full potential, feel valued, and supported

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales goals while exceeding client expectations and providing superior customer service
Increase sales portfolio and attract new business leads
Sell sports/entertainment tickets to clients on behalf of Client Partners & Playfly Aspire
Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the ticketing database
Provide superior customer service to existing and potential clientele
Accountable for certain levels of outbound sales activity (executed/scheduled) and daily goals as directed by manager
Other job-related duties as assigned
