Requirements
- Licensed by the state(s) in which they practice.
- Knowledgeable about the legal responsibilities of the consultant pharmacist to the nursing facility and its residents, including all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services and the operation of nursing facilities.
- Maintain minimum required continuing education hours established by state board of pharmacy.
- Great communication (written and spoken).
