About The Position

The Consultant Engagement Director (CED) is a high-impact, relationship-driven recruiting leader responsible for building and managing consultant pipelines and leading full lifecycle recruiting efforts across Evergreen’s active client opportunities. This role owns the recruitment process from pipeline oversight and outreach through screening, submission, interview coordination, offer management, and first placement, while aligning consultant capabilities and career goals with client partner needs. The CED plays a critical role in overseeing and engaging with a strong pipeline of ready-to-deploy consultants, managing active jobs with urgency and ownership, and partnering cross-functionally to support placement success and exceptional consultant and client experiences. The person in this role actively contributes to our culture of belonging, where everyone feels welcome and supported. Requirements

  • Proficiency in core enterprise systems (i.e. O365, HubSpot & Workday), the ability to learn and effectively utilize role-specific systems and tools.
  • Aptitude for learning and applying AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to change and supporting company growth and scaling efforts.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across Evergreen and with external partners.

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare staffing or talent acquisition environment.
  • Familiarity with Epic and Epic-related staffing needs within healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated success managing full lifecycle recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, submission, interview coordination, and placement execution.
  • Experience building and maintaining talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, outreach, networking, and relationship management.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple active job openings and competing priorities with urgency, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong candidate and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and thrive in a performance-driven, collaborative environment.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS), preferably HubSpot.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow your consultant network within your practice by building and investing in relationships, driving engagement, and maintaining a strong, ready-to-deploy pipeline of top talent.
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from proactive outreach through screening and successful placement.
  • Serve as a market expert, staying closely connected to talent trends, availability, and candidate priorities to inform hiring and placement strategy.
  • Build and nurture a high-quality pipeline through consistent outreach, referrals, and ongoing relationship management with both active and passive candidates.
  • Champion top consultants to the business, clearly articulating their strengths, experience, and fit to drive successful placements.
  • Represent Evergreen’s mission, values, and consultant-first culture in all candidate interactions while delivering a transparent, responsive, and relationship-driven candidate experience.
  • Own active job openings by evaluating candidate fit, managing candidate pipelines, and driving timely submissions to support client delivery needs.
  • Partner with candidates to identify aligned opportunities and submit qualified candidates as quickly as possible following job intake.
  • Guide candidates through the interview, selection, offer, and onboarding process with clear communication and consistent follow-through.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and placement lifecycle.
  • Actively manage Evergreen’s job board and prioritize response to newly opened opportunities with urgency and precision.
  • Balance high-volume recruiting activity with thoughtful candidate curation and quality-driven placement decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough candidate documentation, screening notes, and recruiting activity within HubSpot (ATS).
  • Track recruiting activity including outreach, screenings, submissions, interviews, placements, and pipeline status updates.
  • Use recruiting data and pipeline insights to support placement velocity, consultant readiness, and consultant-workforce planning efforts.
  • Partner closely with Client Partnership and Consultant Partnert teams to support placement success, consultant redeployment, workforce continuity, and reduced bench time.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with consultants regarding opportunities, client feedback, market conditions, and placement status.
  • Participate in recruiting team operating rhythms, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional projects that support Evergreen’s continued growth and recruiting excellence.
