The Corporate Security – Programs provides strategic and operational leadership for Dell's enterprise corporate security programs, with primary accountability for Duty of Care, Travel Risk Management, Workplace Violence Awareness and Recognition, and crisis and operational intelligence support delivered through Dell's Operations + Fusion Center (OFC) ecosystem. This role inherits a portfolio of programs that have achieved significant maturity, enterprise credibility, and measurable impact that have been validated through external assessments, industry recognition, and broad adoption across Dell's global business. The successful candidate will use that foundation as a springboard, continuing to raise the bar on program excellence, deepening enterprise partnerships, and expanding Dell's leadership position in people-risk management. The position partners closely with Global Security Operations leadership, the OFC, Cyber Security, HR, Global Mobility, EHS, Risk & Insurance, Government Affairs, Insider Risk, and regional security leaders while maintaining active engagement with external networks across the private sector and U.S. government security communities. You will advance the maturity and enterprise impact of security programs that protect Dell team members globally, ensure alignment with Dell's security framework, and enable informed, timely decision-making during incidents and crises.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in corporate security, government, intelligence, law enforcement, or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience leading mature, enterprise-scale corporate security programs, particularly in Duty of Care, Travel Risk Management, operational intelligence, and workplace violence risk management
  • A track record of building and sustaining relationships across diverse enterprise functions, with credibility and communication skills to serve as an effective internal advocate for security programs at all organizational levels
  • Active external network across private sector security peers and U.S. government or law enforcement communities, with demonstrated ability to leverage those relationships for organizational benefit
  • Experience supporting or partnering with 24/7 operations and fusion centers, GSOCs, Information Sharing and Analysis Centers, or similar environments
  • Demonstrated readiness to operate outside normal business hours and respond to urgent, high-stakes situations with composure and sound judgment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting critical incidents such as evacuations, shelter-in-place, and international travel repatriation
  • Certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent international credentials
  • Experience working across diverse regulatory and jurisdictional environments and familiarity with external program validation frameworks and standards bodies, including the Security Executive Council, Deloitte, Center for Personal Protection and Safety (CPPS), ASIS International (including their workplace violence prevention standard), ISO (particularly ISO 31030 travel security management), or comparable advisory and standards organizations

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Program Stewardship + Strategic Leadership: Assume ownership of Dell's global Duty of Care and people-risk programs at their current level of maturity and credibility, with accountability for sustaining excellence, advancing program capability, and delivering consistent outcomes across regions, functions, and operating environments
  • Enterprise Relationships + External Network: Serve as a visible internal advocate for Corporate Security programs across HR, Global Mobility, Government Affairs, Insider Risk, EHS, and business leadership while maintaining an active external network spanning private sector peers, U.S. government partners, and intelligence-sharing communities to keep Dell's programs current and credible
  • Incident + Crisis Leadership: Serve as senior escalation point for material team-member incidents and crises, including those requiring rapid, non-standard response. This includes integrating with the OFC to support executive-level decision-making, communications, and business continuity outcomes
  • Governance, Standards + Sustained Risk Reduction: Establish and govern enterprise policies and operating models for team-member safety programs; drive continued improvement through KRIs, trend analysis, and remediation initiatives that deliver durable, measurable reductions in enterprise risk
