We’re looking for a Consultant to join our Built Environment Solutions (BES) team. In this role, you’ll use your technical background and hands-on experience to support a variety of projects for property owners, developers, and contractors across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of fieldwork, technical problem-solving, and working closely with project teams and clients.

Requirements

Strong written communication skills, especially for report writing
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and clients
Solid judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently
General understanding of construction principles and processes
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, building science, or a related field
3–6 years of experience in building design, assessment, or construction
Experience with construction documents, project administration, and/or project management

Nice To Haves

EIT or PE designation is a plus

Responsibilities

Partner with project teams to support the design, assessment, and construction of building projects
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to help manage projects, including budgets and client relationships
Conduct site assessments, including work on rooftops, ladders, lifts, scaffolds, and in mechanical/electrical spaces
Provide technical expertise across architecture, engineering, construction, or related disciplines
Support projects involving building assessments, upgrades, maintenance, restoration, and new construction
Research and interpret building codes and standards (both current and historical)
Review product submittments, samples, mock-ups, testing reports, and technical documentation
