Requirements

  • At least 2 years of retail experience.
  • Up-to-date on new technologies and trends; strong knowledge of tech and ability to diagnose and repair electronics.
  • Represent the Samsung brand in every customer interaction and genuinely care about their individual needs.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to collaborate with others, motivate team members, and lead training sessions when needed.
  • Proven coaching and leadership skills in a retail environment; experience in wireless or electronics is considered an asset.
  • Detail- and results-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding service while adhering to operational standards.
  • Flexible to work non-traditional hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, depending on retail business needs.
  • Excellent command of the French language is essential for regular communication with clients and written documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • experience in wireless or electronics is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Galaxy Consultant handles product troubleshooting and diagnostics on behalf of customers while addressing their needs in an appropriate manner.
  • Deliver excellence in customer service and build relationships by educating consumers on how to effectively use Samsung products.
  • Make outbound calls to customers, when needed, to ensure they are aware of repair processes.
  • Liaise with sales managers to train staff on repairs, warranties, trade-ins, and returns.
  • Maintain productivity standards related to service quality, prompt issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and support in-store demos and scheduled events, assist with corporate initiatives, and help manage foot traffic during peak hours.
