About The Position

West Shore Home is a leading home improvement company specializing in bathrooms, flooring, windows, and doors. We are seeking a Construction Trainee to assist in performing safe and effective installations, following all Company standard operating procedures and PPE protocol, while providing customers with a 5-star experience. This role involves arriving at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks, traveling to customer homes, greeting them, establishing rapport, demoing existing baths/showers, installing new tubs or pans, wall surrounds, and updating plumbing as needed. The role also includes thorough cleanup, collecting paperwork and payment, and returning to the warehouse.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol.
• Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse.
