Recognizing its excellence in nursing care, Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the first adult hospital in Missouri to be certified as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This department consists of 1 Project Coordinator that manages 7 Construction Technicians. This position is responsible for managing $3.6M per budget cycle in Base Capital Projects that consists of miscellaneous construction and facility appearance projects, as well as many BJH Departmental and Washington University funded projects. The Construction Technicians perform super intendant duties on construction projects, as well as various construction related tasks such as: Demolition, Framing, Drywall,Taping, Patching, Painting, Suspended ceiling systems, Flooring Replacement, Modular Furniture installations, various moves and contractor related coordination. Role Purpose Responsible for performing multiple construction related tasks with minimal instruction and supervision. Provides part-time on-site leadership on all assigned in-house construction projects.
