About The Position

Kinsley Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Surveyor to perform topography, construction stakeout, and as-built and control surveys using conventional and GPS methods. The role requires following proper procedures, performing accurate calculations, and working effectively in a team-based environment. The Construction Surveyor reports directly to the Director of Survey and 3D Modeling. This position is considered safety sensitive under Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a construction layout surveyor, with a strong focus on quality.
• Proficiency with GPS and conventional robotic systems.
• Strong technical skills, diligence, and knowledge of construction drawings for buildings and sites.
• Basic computer skills using MS Office and various software tools.
• Willingness to work safely and follow all safety rules.
• Ability to work outdoors, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrains and in a wide range of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Initiative and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Stake out all aspects of site projects.
• Support site crews and GPS systems.
• Perform office computations for stakeout.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
