About The Position
S&R Enterprises is a structural steel and precast erection company that is heavily involved in the aerospace and commercial industry. We are seeking a qualified candidate to assist as a Construction Surveyor/Field Engineer on the east coast.
Requirements
- Proficient with a Total Station and Data Collector.
- Proficient with Auto Level, can run and close a level loop.
- Basic survey knowledge and strong math and spatial skills.
- Familiarity with construction drawings.
- Familiarity with CAD and 3D modeling.
- Experience using Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Organized.
- Ability to learn and take responsibility.

- Ability to multi-task, to manage shifting priorities and to follow through on projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a construction/industrial environment.
- Ability to work in a high-concentration, fast-paced environment.

- Willing to work overtime when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of Construction Surveying with Total Station.
- Assisting with layout, as-builts, and quality assurance of steel construction.
- Assisting with Project Management of documents and RFI tracking.
- Proper care and calibration of survey equipment.
