Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in surveying or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of construction surveying experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency with modern survey data equipment such as GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, digital levels, and data collectors.
  • Experience with CAD and survey software such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, Trimble Business Center, etc.
  • Strong plan-reading and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Land surveying: 4 years (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field activities, crew scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Provide direction, training, and performance oversight for field staff.
  • Review plans, verify control, and deliver precise construction layout for contractors.
  • Validate field measurements, coordinate data processing, and maintain documentation standards.
  • Communicate project needs, resolve field issues, and support schedule and budget goals.
  • Produce as-builts, reports, and digital files aligned with Kapur and client requirements.
  • Ensure crews follow safety procedures, traffic control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Utilize and maintain GPS, robotic total stations, scanners, and data‑collection software.
