Requirements

  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related business; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ability to learn to use proprietary databases.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee pipeline construction projects.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of third party contractors.
  • Assign work and monitor construction costs and overall performance.
  • Manage subordinate employees within pipeline operations.
  • Complete reports of job progress.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
  • Verify conformance.
  • Assure all contractors and employees know and follow safety and work rules & policies.
  • Monitor the job site for safety and quality of work.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
