About The Position

Bio Town Ag, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations at their BTA site. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are safe, on schedule, and built to a high standard of quality. The superintendent will manage multiple trades and projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities due to weather and project needs. The company values honesty, the ability to stay steady under pressure, good communication skills, and the capacity to balance multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with excavation, trenching, concrete, post-frame construction, electric, and plumbing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Leadership experience managing multiple trades and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other simple database software to organize and communicate project plans.

Nice To Haves

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in the building trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily field operations at the BTA site to ensure workers have resources, job clarity, and are held accountable.
• Provides leadership across multiple trades and multiple projects at once.
• Develops a schedule and cost-effective plan for completion of assigned projects, and monitors budget throughout.
• Coordinates and schedules the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, delivering clear instructions and assignments.
• Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; has an eye for quality and makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
• Procure materials and equipment proactively to ensure projects are not slowed down.
• Interviews and hires site workers; approves timecards and time-off requests; prepares work schedules and assignments.
• Communicates and enforces safety procedures and site rules; addresses safety violations and other deficiencies.
• Collaborates with engineers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure specifications and regulations are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
